Rotary piston gas meters have been manufactured since 1930 by Aerzener Maschinenfabrik.
The basis for the design of the gas meter series comes from many years of experience and continuous dialogue with the end users, as well as adherence to the EU-standards.
They are manufactured in accordance with the Aerzener tradition for quality in correspondence
with the quality assurance system, certified to DIN ISO 9001 and as per pressure device
guideline DGRL 97/23/EG.
Aerzener currently produces the largest range of gas meters on the market
(up to series G 4000 at 6 500 m³/h).
Further advantages include:
High Temperature Resistance up to a pressure of 5 bar as a standard design feature for series
 G 40 to G 400.
The measuring range can be calibrated up to 1:160. Measuring resistance is guaranteed within
the calibration validity.
Re-calibration is only required every 16 years and is unlimited for sizes larger than G 1600.
Assembly dimensions have been reduced (3 x DN possible).
Minimal maintenance requirements; oil change intervals are 16 years on gas streams with
utmost purity.
A double roller type counter makes change of flow direction possible without supervision of a
calibration inspector.
Flexible customer-orientated solutions are available with additional equipment.
Mounting positions:
The meters are designed to operate in horizontal and vertical flow directions, the counter can be rotated (without supervision of a calibration inspector).
