Aerzen Screw Compressors are available as oil-free and oil-injected machines in various sizes, single- and multi-stage for a diversity of applications.
Aerzener Maschinenfabrik GmbH has been manufacturing screw compressors based on the Lysholm principle since 1943.
Initially, the only types produced were machines that were designed to convey the medium
without any contamination by the lubricating oil.
After many years of intensive development work, the screw compressors manufacturing program was enlarged to include compressors of a similar type, but operating on the principle of
oil injection. These include the VMX and VMY machines.
